Thursday, June 8, 2023 - Significantly more mineral/fresh style compared to the '18 rendition of this bottling, though needing quite a bit more airtime. You have to wonder if this was bottled with extra gas/S02? as there is a strong sulfur note that dissipates after 30 minutes. Yellow citrus fruits and some pale-yellow apple fruits, vague florality and some leesy interest throughout. A nice dusting of brown spices come through as it warms up, too. Good body vs. the freshness and acidity. This is holding quite well and would benefit from some bottle age. 91+
