Thursday, October 1, 2015 - Medium deep ruby/maroon - nose is deep and dark, everything is in the key of black, but not as bad as that sounds - it is dark, but remains delineated, and fruits, ablbethem roasted, rise above the din- palate is smooth, deep, rich as the nose would have you, but there is a surprising amount of energy, and a medium body, that really draw you in and makes for a nice glass - a great wine for a nice steak (which we did), this has excellent power and energy, a combination often sorely lacking in New World wine - Bravo!
