Tuesday, November 20, 2018 - Excellent bottle purchased from a good cellar, provenance known. Deep scarlet colour. Initially coffee and earth but with a little time glorious cedar and plummy Merlot fruit overlain by exotic spice from the richness of the vintage. Silky palate with soft but persistent tannin. The velvety texture and mouthfeel is one of this wines most appealing features. A BDX for the BURG lovers, and with time in hand.
