Saturday, December 5, 2015 - A beautiful pinot that is probably at its peak. The nose has lovely red fruits with cranberry, tart cherry, and also hints of blood orange peel. There are also floral notes and just a hint of damp underbrush and mushroom. The palate is elegant and lightweight, but still carries plenty of flavor while being mainly driven by acidity. The finish is a touch short, but still quite good. Excellent food wine. I'm not sure I see this getting any better, but should still drink well for another few years before declining.
