This was my best bottle of this vintage. The nose was beautiful with dried cherry, raspberry, currant, forest floor, dried violet, leather. The palate is excellent and this bottle has the best concentration of flavor that I've experienced yet is still just weightless and ethereal. Just a perfect example of aged Pinot noir and no where near decline.

Oregon Notes.; 8/5/2016-8/26/2016: still showing rather young - with just a touch of the secondary notes. deeply cherry and ripe fruit, touch of leather over the earthy bright mid. savory spices coming in on the back. long finish. excellent.

This may have been my best bottle of this yet; lovely nose with dried cherry and raspberry, cardamom, forest floor, hints of mushroom, black tea, and just a hint of dried flowers. The palate is ethereal and pure finesse. Lovely dried red fruit notes, hints of sous bois, with really nice balance. I still don't see this really getting any better with more age, but it should drink well for another couple years

A beautiful pinot that is probably at its peak. The nose has lovely red fruits with cranberry, tart cherry, and also hints of blood orange peel. There are also floral notes and just a hint of damp underbrush and mushroom. The palate is elegant and lightweight, but still carries plenty of flavor while being mainly driven by acidity. The finish is a touch short, but still quite good. Excellent food wine. I'm not sure I see this getting any better, but should still drink well for another few years before declining.

Drank at wedding; lovely wine with a beautiful Volnay like elegance, red berries, floral nose with spice and some damp undergrowth. Very good.
