Thursday, June 11, 2020 - 14.5% alcohol; the winery's Canoe Ridge property overlooks the Columbia River in southeast Washington's famed Horse Heaven Hills AVA; real cork with a maximum wine penetration of 5 mm, medium to heavy weight foil, medium to long legs, dark purple/brown; vinturied and tasted at room temperature (27 degrees C); nose of alcohol, sweet/sour cherries, vanilla, honey, honeysuckle, traces of oranges and cloves; layering is too straightforward, still it's pretty darned good; full bodied, envelops the tongue in waves of stone fruit (especially cherries, peaches), dark berries (boysenberries, blackberries, blueberries), vanilla, and honeysuckle; the long finish is equally spectacular; pair with cheeses, desserts, or drink solo
