Delivery on this wine was a little flat and Simple Jack, but it still managed to offer pleasure by way of its approachable, medium-bodied personality. Not a hard edge to be found (which made it feel a little round and plush at times), lacking a little concentration, especially when compared to the other Beckstoffer wines.

A Purlieu GIII we had earlier in the day was more interesting to me. 92+ points.
