Wednesday, July 18, 2007 - Excellent! Cabernet Sauvignon/Syrah/Merlot 70/20/10 blend. Deep deep ruby color. Nose full of ripe dark fruit – blackberries in particular – with an underlying hint of oak. Unsurprising palate of blackberries and spice with a detectable minty element. Full-bodied with a nice silky feel. Long spicy finish. Mellowed nicely an hour after opening. Sadly, though, lacking in value with a price of $50/bottle. Nonetheless, a fantastic Paso Robles red blend!
