Probably past it's optimal drinking point. Still has some red fruit on the nose. The color is still bright, no noticeable color variation. Something just missing on the palette. All signs point to past it's prime.

Long finish great pairing with lamb and gorgonzola. Great dark fruit and well balanced oak. Maybe we drank it kinda late but it was definitely still killer.

Big nose - loads of fruit. Like a field of super ripe berries. Floral notes. But fairly complex and interesting. After it had been open awhile, it gave a whiff of gun flint/minerality. On the palate the wine showed very well. Full but not flashy or overdone. Firm, integrated tannins, medium acidity. Almost creamy weight in the mouth. Medium finish (its weakest point). Chocolate notes later on. Really gave it up. Decanted from magnum.

Tried alone and with brunch (maple sausage, peppers, and eggs). Left open for about 20m. On the nose lots of dark fruit and some heat, slight oak in the background. I would have expected more cab-like characteristics based on the blend, but this is more syrah-zin like. On the tongue lots of dark berry, considerable pepper, and a bit og tobacco. Again, surprised that there is not more obvious cab influence here, especially the oak which seems nearly absent. Holds up well to mild-medium spice. Enjoyed quite a bit. This was a gift, so I can't speak to price, but I would have to agree that $50 is too much for this wine. $30, yeah maybe.

Lots of aroma and flavor to start, but falls apart quickly becoming disorganized and musty. Alcohol is not well integrated and stands out in the palate, but the rest of the palate is well (but not overdone) extracted dark fruit with some licorice and coffee. I believe this is Cabernet Sauvignon based. Fairly tannic, a little bit "wild."

Dark purple with chocolatey aromas of cola and plumb. Full nectar and round with complex nuances of ripe berries and blackcherry, currant, tobacco, and dusty rocks with a medium finish. A wine with nice flavor concentration.

Dark luscious color; complex nose of cassis, dark berries, tobacco with a hint of olive and coconut; alcohol very present but good long elegant finish. Drink now.

Very good, extreme dark purple, robust concentration, with notes of black fruit, blueberries, plums, pepper and oak on the nose, tannins were present, but not overpowering, very smooth with a long finish (89 Points).

Dark maroon color with very soft tannins. Flavors of blueberries and spices. Luscious and non-toasted oak. A very small hint of herbs (mint) at the distance. It finishes at the end with evocations of green peppers.

Excellent! Cabernet Sauvignon/Syrah/Merlot 70/20/10 blend. Deep deep ruby color. Nose full of ripe dark fruit – blackberries in particular – with an underlying hint of oak. Unsurprising palate of blackberries and spice with a detectable minty element. Full-bodied with a nice silky feel. Long spicy finish. Mellowed nicely an hour after opening. Sadly, though, lacking in value with a price of $50/bottle. Nonetheless, a fantastic Paso Robles red blend!

Pretty decent. Definitely starting to lose the fruit, but still enjoyable.

Still some life left on this, with well integrated dark fruit flavors that are complimented by herbs and heat after about 30-45 minutes of air.

Was not impressed, esp. when compared to the Delectus, Caymus, Regusi and Provedence that was consumed after this bottle.

Nice everyday drinker, dont think its built to last -dark fruit (Blackberry blueberry) up front and then mellow's throughout. Ok finish.
