Monday, April 23, 2018 - Notes are from night two of being opened. This is all about purple. Inky purple color, purple pit fruit, purple berries, and purple flowers mark this wine. On the nose, it showed a beautiful bouquet of purple flowers, sage, savory smoked herbs. On the palate it showed sappy fruit covered in more herbs showing a kiss of oak on the finish. The last glass showed the best with more bacon fat, and cured meats on the mid palate. Shows the potential to gain a few points in the years to come. I'm a fan!
