Saturday, December 28, 2019 - Some reduction but it blows off after about an hour. Dark berry, black cherry, earth, slight baking space. Last tasted on release about 18 months ago and still seems very youthful. This may be his entry level pinot, but it's got the stuffing to go for several more years. Really impressive and drinking well, but will hold off for about two more years before opening another. A good reminder on how well his wines age and why it's worth stocking up on this wine while the higher end cuvees age.
