Thursday, December 7, 2023 - Opened at the Victuals in HK. Decanted immediately upon opening, but enjoyed fairly quickly after.

This was opened after a Riesling heavy evening as a bonus to the line-up, and was also the only one that was decanted. As I've had the pleasure of enjoying more Kellers, I do feel that they really can handle air and some of their tightly wound energy and acidity loosens up with patience, allowing more of the fruit, petrol and floral notes to come through. This was no exception, and was a rounder wine than the previous ones as a result.

Not as much power as the Morstein in the same flight, and not quite as precise as the Kirchspiel, but a gorgeous wine nonetheless. Am loving the 2017 GGs from Keller. They can definitely age for longer, and patience will be rewarded, but also don't hesitate to drink with enough air.
