Monday, April 20, 2015 - Drank as part of a Pinot Gris tasting. Covered four others from Washington, Monterey, Italy, and Alsace. I've had Acrobat before so new it would be decent. The field overall was pretty close but this one tied out with the Alsace. Very different wines as the Alsace maintained 24% residual sugar but of the four dry Pinot Gris, this one topped the Kestrel, the Geretto, and the La Crema. Kind of surprised there. Wine was floral and fruity on the nose. Good minerality. Very nicely balanced and as others note, just a very enjoyable easy drinking wine that is great at the price point.
