Wednesday, April 3, 2019 - 14.5% alcohol, medium weight foil, appears to be real cork; long legs, medium yellow; nose of citrus, whiff of mint and menthol; tasted at ca 12 degrees C; full bodied, fruit subdued but powerful in the middle and back of the tongue, sides of the tongue experience a slight citrus/sourness that complements the fruit on top; the label reports how stainless steel and wood were both used in preparation of the wine, a procedure resulting in in an exceptional tasting experience; medium finish; pair with oily fish like Chilean sea bass or wild caught Coho salmon, fresh grilled on cedar boards; currently on mark-down at Costco and well worth it -- Axel Schug and his winemaker (if a different person) are to be complemented in achieving this outstanding Chardonnay
