Wednesday, September 26, 2007 - Dark ruby. Young, fresh, middle body. Very lithe on palate--goes straight to the back. Red fruits, plus some minerality and spiciness. From the sweetness of the fruits comes a wonderful mocha and coco tone from the ripe tannin on the long finish. Tannins do not enter into the tasting unless you roll the wine around in the mouth. Not sure if the name (anima negra = black soul) is well chosen: could not find melcnaholia in the glass.
