Sunday, October 18, 2015 - Tasted in a vertical of this wine (2001, 2004, 2005).
This wine was the favorite on day 1, and slid to 2nd place on day 2 (behind the 2005).
It showed honeyed lemon extract, with Alsatian spice notes, med+ acidity, and a long, fairly crisp finish.
The richness of the fruit was perfectly balanced by the laser-like acidity on day 1, but it faded just a tad on the 2nd day.
Drink now through 2020+. Delicious
