Wednesday, July 14, 2021 - BYO at Summersalt in Avalon, NJ. Nose is nutty, slightly smoky with iodine and sea spray. Palate is acidic with tropical fruits: lime, kiwi, carambola, but not overly ripe with a crushed rock finish. Medium body, long finish, basically the platonic ideal of a village-level white burgundy. Pair with basically anything that isn’t red meat, it will be delicious.
