Monday, February 12, 2018 - Some Fine Older Bordeaux and Cabs (Capitalle Grille, Mpls, MN): Light gold color. Drank 1 glass over 30 minutes. I have always enjoyed this cuvee. Nice citrus on the nose bolstered by wet stone minerality, fairly bright. The palate is lighter bodied, a bit leaner with citrus, tangy, citrus pith and more chalk-like minerality. I'm surprised to see no recent notes from anyone other than tasters in our area.
