Friday, September 2, 2022 - One of my top 4 chardonnays year after year. Neck to neck with Leeuwin, Kistler & Ferren, while topping Hyde de Villaine, Aubert, Peter Michael & sacrilegiously, even Marcassin.

PS. Leeuwin is one of my favorites. They are lasting a lifetime.

1/25/2023 10:31:00 AM - I just had a ‘13 Leeuwin on Sunday night, such gorgeous elixir! One chardonnay that I totally forgot to acknowledge, is the Ridge Monte Bello. People know about the famed Monte Bello red, but most didn’t know about their celestial Monte Bello chardonnay. Their Estate chardonnays, depending on the vintage, is very good as well. 🥂
