Friday, September 21, 1990 - With K at home at dinner. Nice strong color. Clear and brilliant. Nose is rather nice, rich and buttery. Unfortunately, it's nasty, thin and acidic in the mouth, with only a hint of the butter in the nose. Quite a disappointment, given both the wine's reputation and how nice it was earlier in its life. 5-10-5-3: 73/100.
