Saturday, March 20, 2021 - Tasted over two days.

A blueberry (with blackberry accents) and tobacco fest, aligned with berry liqueurs, dark chocolate ganache, worn leather, sous-bois, and minerals, on the bouquet and palate.

Delicious, bordering on luxurious, and quite long. Overall, however, this wine, like so many others in this overstated declared vintage, lacks middle and bass substance, and is even a little light on the requisite acid that allows a wine to age for longer than two decades. Also, the alcohol shows angularities.

Overall, quite pretty, and it should last through 2035-2040, though beyond that seems iffy.
