Saturday, October 23, 2021 - Decanted 48 hours. Tasted blind alongside '17 Cockburn VP, '16 & '17 Dow VP, '16 & '17 Taylor's VP.
Thicker and darker fruit than both Dow's, not as muscular as either Taylor's, and with a shorter finish.
The 2016 Cockburn had more spice and earthiness, slightly less balanced fruit, slightly longer finish than the 2017 Cockburn.
Excellent, but weaker than the competitors.
