Friday, February 2, 2024 - Bought from vineyard in France and carried home to US. Suspect it was corked. Color is brick red. Decanted 3 hours. Muted nose. Disappointingly, not a complex wine. Fruit forward, but not jammy like US wine. It first hits me with a mint spice, and melts into a raspberry & strawberry fruit. Smooth and silky texture. Lingers in mouth but finishes with same fruit profile. This is a respected wine so I wouldn't base decisions on this review of a potentially corked wine.
