The wine was beautifully aromatic, great raspberry flavor upfront, almost a berry pie like flavor with well-balanced spice, but the wine did fade on the finish a bit. It was a very pleasant drink, but don't let it sit any longer, it is at its prime and I don't think it would do any good to let it rest more. A little more French in style, quite pleasant.
