Saturday, April 1, 2023 - Vertical tasting of Braida Bricco dell’Uccellone Barbera d’Asti. Wine #4/5. Made from single vineyard of Rocchetta Tanaro, aged for 12 months in used oak and 12 months in bottle. Deep ruby colour. Pronounced and rich aroma of black cherries, violets, blackberries, balsamic, liquorice, hints of roasted hazelnuts. Full body, powerful but also most elegant from all vintages tasted, flavours of red and black fruits, chocolate, medium+ acidity, low silky tannins.
