Wednesday, October 5, 2005 - ($58) Lovely aromas of mint, anise, cedar, cocoa, and maybe some lavender then black currant. Intense and slightly chewey with tannin in a good way. Thick. Shows a little more toasty caramel oak on the palate, but remains true to the black currant fruit on the nose. Enjoyable. Would be good with red meat, as opposed to Chinese.
