Saturday, July 25, 2009 - 14.5% ABV. Deeply colored, almost opaque dark garnet. Sweet smelling cedar-vanilla-caramel along with some black currant fruit. Rich attack with dark berry, caramel, and some mint. Fruit seemed to turn more toward tangy red currant at that point. Some lingering tangy mountain fruit tannin. Drinking nicely, but I am probably going to drink my remaining bottles over the next couple years.
