Thursday, November 26, 2009 - 14.5% ABV. Deeply colored, almost opaque with a clearing rim. This was initially closed, so I splash decanted it. Caramel and woody aromas initially. Rich but closed with some tar-like flavors. A bit firm and missing fruit. Not a great showing.
