Friday, August 27, 2010 - Tasted non blind. Opened and glass decanted about 45 minutes before serving. Followed over the next two hours. Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of licorice, varnish, potpourri, currants and white pepper. Flavors of Kirsch, berries and a dash of currant. Fruit seems to be fading just a bit on the palate. Light to medium acidity, medium tannins and body. Drink over the short term. 90-?
