93 Points

Wednesday, April 6, 2011 - Popped and poured. Deep purple color. Nose of ripe blackberry, smoke, some baking chocolate and high toned spicy notes. Full bodied. Concentrated black fruits, chocolate, cinnamon spice, a touch of menthol. Firm tannin structure. 30+ second finish which mirrors the palate.

This is the best regular Pride cabernet I’ve had in some time. Has enough complexity and structure to be pleasing. Ripe but not overripe. Should hold up well for a few more years but ready now.
