Monday, November 21, 2011 - Third time the charm! After having my first 2 bottles of this corked('06,'10)....it is SO nice to finally have a perfect bottle of this great vintage for their cabs. This is a replacement bottle from Pride, after the corked one in 2010. The corked bottle in 2006 was replaced with a 2003. This has tons of sediment...dark oozing blackberry/cherry/plum fruit....wonderful mocha, dark graphite spice, liqueur fruit, smoked vanilla bean, and even a little olive and tobacco leaf. Very polished and creamy, yet still plenty of firm dusty spiced tannin in the mouth, and finish...where it explodes the dry exotic woods into dust! Just LOVE the Pride flavor profile...with the mocha and dark chocolate brownies, smoke and licorice. This is an amazing "non reserve" cab....all in perfect balance now, with plenty more days. MAN...when you you get a good one...WOW!
