Saturday, September 15, 2012 - Drank next to the 1998 Lafite, this showed relatively well. Needed three hours of vigorous decanting to round the initially harsh tannins. Rich fruit profile bordering on overly ripe and roasted. Cassis, blackberry jam, espresso, menthol. Medium finish.
