Saturday, April 21, 2007 - Nose was ground coffee, dark chocolate and some toffee. The palate was quite closed when first opened. Over the two hours the wine was open, the palate opened up and had nice fruit with a long finish. It helped that the wine was complementing a nice burger with maytag blue cheese and bacon, the fat really brought out the sweet fruit of the wine which seemed much harsher without food.
