Sunday, June 8, 2014 - Second Sunday Group: 2001 CA cabs (Anvil Club): Deep opaque color. A bit reticent at first, dark berry and plum notes were eventually coaxed from the glass. Tannins are still quite firm here, with dark fruit, spice and vanilla flavors turning to red fruit through the finish.
