Sunday, October 14, 2007 - Dark purple. A sexy nose of blackcurrant liqueur, licorice, dark chocolate caramels and a touch of mint. Round and plush on the palate with blackcurrant, blackberry and a pronounced anise note. Ripe tannin on the finish. A pleasing but rather simple wine. Will it add secondary characteristics?
