Saturday, June 23, 2018 - Double blind. Dark color. Notes of licorice, black fruit and herbs. Shows more ripeness as it sits, along with chocolate. Quite ripe on the palate- to the extent that it reminds me slightly of an Amarone- definitely trending towards prunes. Ripe fruit and chocolate carrying the finish. I believe we all guessed Napa sauvignon here.
