Friday, August 6, 2004 - Dark red in poor lighting. Nose is blackberries and jammy cherries. It first started off a bit closed but with about 30 minutes of air started singing a song. Black tea, nice tannin bite with sweet black cherries and dark chocolate. Finish was short lived. I know this wine will deserve a higher score in time but first needs a few more years in the bottle.
