Friday, August 6, 2004 - Purple to the rim. Inviting nose of vanilla and cassis. Palate was rich, confectionary and had a creamy mouthfeel, with notes of chocolate, blackcurrants prevailing. Finish was quite oaky and armed with substantial yet ripe tannins. Still very primary, I look forward to trying another in a few years.
