Wednesday, May 4, 2022 - Have wanted to try this for a while, and it didn’t disappoint. Pours medium-light with some bricking at the edges. Needs about 20 minutes to open. Shows lots of inky, savory aromatics, plus a faint hint of barnyard. On the palate, faded black and red fruits vie for center stage with herbal notes and something a bit peppery. Good length on the finish. All in all, a very enjoyable bottle that’s ready to go. More confirmation, as well, that this site can produce excellent wines capable of aging well.
