Thursday, August 4, 2022 - Garnet-colored, herbs and dusty fruit on the nose. Wild strawberry, pomegranate, leather, and some earthiness on the palate. Fruit and tannins are nicely integrated. Excellent complement to all our pasta dishes at the fabulous L’Isola restaurant on St. Barths. Not the last word in Brunello by any means, but nice enough that we had a second bottle. The 2014 has plenty of life left.
