Thursday, November 9, 2023 - Old books, cherry, rhubarb, rose petal and undergrowth on the nose. It's medium bodied with a woven silk mouthfeel, and there's plenty of lift and well judged acidity providing plenty of freshness that counterbalances the delicious red fruit. There are tannins detectable on the finish. It is very much open for business and likely on its drinking plateau, and should remain there for quite a few years to come. It's drinking better than quite a few Barolos I have had lately. Bravo & open a bottle if it is in your cellar.
