Tuesday, September 13, 2022 - This will be an explosive wine in 20 year’s time. Perfumed nose with no single dominant note of: violet, dried rose, dark red berries, spice. On palate I found raspberry, black cherry and violets. Med+ acids. Prominent tannin on the finish. A very long finish with raspberry and tannins. In 15-20 years this wine has the chance to be full of purple violets alongside more common Barolo notes – which would be rather stunning. My wine-searcher alert for the release price will never be triggered.
