Friday, December 10, 2021 - Much more evolved than expected. Quite disappointing considering the price point (about $250 canadian). People around the table liked it, but no one was impressed or wowed by it. I had $50-60 Barolos that were much more fun to drink. Mostly delivering tertiary aromas, with forrest floor notes, mushrooms and a "rustic" tannic structure. Oh well, you need to suffer once in a while to enjoy the truly great ones:). Personally, I wouldn't wait to long before opening my bottles if you still have some in your cellar.
