Thursday, May 21, 2020 - Deep, dark reddish-purple in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blackberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & spice notes, some cocoa, minerals, herbs & oak & vanilla in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of smooth textured & well balanced, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blackberries & plums with cocoa, spices, herbs, minerals & vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present & may develop slightly with aging, but may be best enjoyed for its youthful vibrancy.
