Tuesday, October 19, 2021 - Very vinous style here with a rich nose and palate of caramel-laden blood orange and dried stone fruit- type fruit with brown spices and yeasty complexity. The intensity and layering come out as this warms up; has a heavy impression in the mouth with ample, almost lush (for Champagne) mouthfeel. Plenty of acidity but the low to zero dosage shows no harshness/racy impressions. Toast, vanilla (oak?) and caramel dominate with air time. 93-94. What a treat!!!
