Sunday, May 24, 2020 - I’m not going to go as far as Prof B but I also did not enjoy this wine. At this point there is an overwhelming astringent characteristic on both the nose (acetone) and the palate. I’m going to assume that this fell victim to VA. In comparison to a 2007 Agharta I recently drank, well there was no comparison. This reminded me more of bulk California swill than anything. I don’t know if it will improve but I’d avoid. Purchased from Last Bottle so cant speak to provenance. That being said I’ve enjoyed a couple bottles of 2014 Wind Gap Woodruff Chardonnay which I also bought from Last Bottle.
