Sunday, May 26, 2013 - At or near its apogee, this is the quintessential expression of Perrot Minot red Burgundy. Wonderful extraction, no Burgundian barnyard, just pure French pinot fruit. Dark and red cherry core, combined with leather, oak and Asian spice notes, this wine is hauntingly delicious. This is the style of red Burgundy that I just love.
