Some in the group thought the palate wasnt as powerful as the nose suggested but then i wasnt expecting a bruiser of a wine from Deutz. i thought it had the perfect acidity balance, a nice follow-through from the nose to the palate, delicate n tingling. For me, the best part was after the dissipitation of the bubbles - this displayed a nice burgundian chardonnay touch. Great long finish. Nice start with spring rolls to a very good nite ahead.
