2016 Domaine Tempier Bandol Cabassaou

Community Tasting Note

Friday, October 5, 2018 - 2016 Domain Tempier Reds (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Not as saturated as the Migoua, nor the amplitude in the mouth either. More of a blend of black fruit and earth than any of the other reds in the range, and perhaps the only one to have a hint of brett as well. Not head and shoulders above the others to be sure, and for my taste, a significant step behind the Migoua. Tannic and young.

10/6/2018 7:17:00 AM - Wow! I thought that drinking a Cabassaou that young required a special permit, tongs, safety glasses and signing a waiver. Thanks for taking one for the team.
