Saturday, September 12, 2020 - Deep purplish ruby, the nose is full of sweet smelling dark fruits. The palate provides an overwhelming taste of prunes. Flabby tannins make one wonder if this actually is a cabernet sauvignon. The medium-short finish is nondescript, with very little beyond the cloying initial tastes. This might be acceptable if it were $8 per bottle – cannot imagine paying close to $20.
